We use Skorby for Volleyball tracking but you'll find that it's flexible enough to be used for many other sports.
To not get confused, you can name the teams.
Your sport is played in sets? No problem, you can track them as well.
Track the time of the sets or show timers for breaks.
You can switch score sides, if the teams change sides.
Whatever you do, you can always undo it.
So you can use the other for cheering :-)
